Govt. Secondary Training School (Women), Berhampur was established in the Year 1970. Now intake capacity is 100 seats of D.El.Ed course. Office of the Principal, ETEI(W), Berhampur is functioning in its own building under School and Mass Education Department, Govt. of Odisha. The Mission of ETEI(W) is to provide academic and resource support at the grass root level for the success of various strategies, programmes being undertaken in the area of elementary and adult education.
ETEI(W), Berhampur envisions developing and promoting a responsive and relevant teaching–learning system for Elementary education and contributing to excellence in teaching and learning as an innovative and resourceful center with committed and professional staff through reflective research-based practice.
